Paisley quickly walked out of the bathroom and stepped onto the balcony to arover the call.
“Hey, babe! Are you home?” Emery’s lovely voice came through the phone.
Emery was the kind of person who shattered all stereotypes. She came from a cultured family but had a rebellious streak a mile wide. As a famous designer, she liked to wear dresses every day, but she had a fiery temper without the ladylike demnitanor one might expect.

Paisley didn’t expect Emery to be coming over soon. She stood on the balcony and glanced back into the living room, where Dominick hd comme out. He was watching her again, his eyes dark and unreadable,
After finishing the call with Emery, Paisley walked back into the living room and directly said to Dominick, “You guys should leave now. I have another guest soom. It’s gonna be awkward with you here.”
Paisley knew exactly how much Ernery hated Dominick, If Emery saw him here, given her fiery personality, she’d definitely have something sharp

Dominick whipped around and glared at Paisley “Remove me from that damn list he barked. Tim going to check on Sonny whenever I feel like it.”
