In a daze, I saw my dad coming to get me.
He said: “Ruby, come to Daddy. No one will bully you here.”
My nose stung as I rushed into his embrace.
“Okay.”
After I died, my soul left my body.
I was finally free. No more mockery from my family, no more forcing myself to eat food I didn’t like just to make money.
I floated in the air and saw my brother and Lucas driving at 200 mph to the hospital.
My brother fell as soon as he got out of the car. His face was pale.
“Ruby, you’ll be fine. You have to be.”
Lucas ran into the hospital with a blank look in his eyes, as if terrified of missing my final moments.
When he and my brother reached my room, Dr. Sean was wheeling out my body, already covered with a white sheet.
With a thud, my brother and Lucas both fell to their knees in front of me.
Dr. Sean punched each of them hard.
“How dare you show your faces here? Get out!”
My brother’s tears burst forth.
Ignoring the pain on his face, he crawled to my side and lifted the white sheet.
Then he collapsed to the ground.
“Sister, sister…”
Lucas covered his mouth, his whole body shaking as he cried.
I never imagined they would be so devastated by my death.
Didn’t they hate me?
“Now you call her sister? Where were you before?” Dr. Sean roared.
“She was in the hospital for so long. You didn’t believe she was sick, you thought she was faking it. Are your brains filled with shit?”
My brother and Lucas couldn’t say a word..
After all, they knew very well how they had treated me.

“Dr. Sean, how did Ruby die?” Lucas suddenly looked up at Dr. Sean.
“Stomach cancer,” he answered without hesitation.
“The stomach cancer you all didn’t believe in.”
My brother and Lucas both broke down, covering their faces as they cried.
Many times I had told them I had stomach cancer, that I was in pain.
But not a single person believed me.
My mom was the last to arrive.
When she saw my body, she fell to her knees and wailed heartbrokenly.
The people who used to hate me and speak harshly to me were now all crying uncontrollably for me.
But if they cared for me so much, why didn’t they treat me well before?
After my body was sent to the morgue, the funeral planner I had hired earlier arrived. His name was Xiao Liu.
He showed everyone the contract I had signed with him.
“Miss Gu entrusted me to handle her funeral arrangements before she passed.”
“No way. Only we can arrange my sister’s funeral!” my brother refused, rushing over to hit him.
Dr. Sean immediately pushed him away.
“Have you forgotten? You cut ties with Ruby.”
These words seemed to completely shatter my brother’s sanity.
He collapsed to the ground, his whole body shaking.
On the day of my funeral, it didn’t snow. It was a bright, sunny day.
That’s good. My final wish came true.
The funeral was exactly as I had envisioned.
It was filled with Piggy standees, and there was even a QR code on the tombstone that linked to a message I had for everyone.
Dr. Sean stood at the front, holding chamomile flowers. His eyes were red as he scanned the QR code with his phone.
In the video, I was wearing a Piggy costume.
“Hello, I’m Ruby.”
“Have you all come to my funeral today? Don’t cry for me. I’m doing well in heaven. I’ll become Piggy and watch over you all.”
The video ended abruptly there.
Tears slid down Dr. Sean’s face.
My brother and Lucas knelt nearby.
Their faces were full of remorse as they cried out loud.
“Sister.”
“Ruby, I’m sorry.”

I finally heard Lucas apologize to me.
After all, he really had wronged me terribly.
As for my mom, she was hugging my tombstone and crying hysterically.
“Oh heavens, how could you be so cruel? You took my husband, and now you’ve taken my daughter!”
I wanted to say that my death wasn’t unrelated to her.
When I was first diagnosed with stomach cancer, I begged her for money for treatment. But she just slapped me hard and said I was faking it.
At this moment, my brother’s and Lucas’s phones both rang.
These were timed emails I had set to send just before I died.
They contained all the chat logs of Tiffany gloating to me.
