I took deep breaths, trying to ease my panic. It would do me no good to give birth to my pup in the middle of nowhere, tied in the back of a truck.
“We need to get out of here.” Tiara said in a slight panic.
I agreed, but I had no idea what to do. I tugged at the ropes again, and my shoulders sagged in resignation

I released a deep breath and closed my eyes. Then I pulled hard with all my strength. I felt myself float a little in the air, but I fell back down in defeat.
