Chapter 238
(Unknown Pov)
The supernatural world was in chaos. The rogue attack had spread all over the land.
Pison had not only stationed the rogues at the arena; he had them in every position in the realm.
Eros was locked in a brutal fight with Pison while the rest of the people fought against the rogues.
Eden and Olivia were nowhere in sight.
The moon goddess, a flawless beauty clad in a crystal white garment that flowed about her, with hair as white as snow and eyes, a beautiful sea blue, looked down at this chaos in anguish. It was a fight that she had foreseen but could not prevent because she had given free will to the creatures.
And the evil or good they create would determine how they survive. But then she was always there as a guardian to steer them away from evil as much as she could
She was seated majestically over a golden throne, a white staff in her hand, waved it in the air and the sky darkened.
The world was suddenly plunged into darkness.
Beside her, Kihon, one of her subjects bowed slightly and began to speak.
“Goddess, the people need help. Hades must have released his plague of hatred upon them, and if you don’t save them now, they will rip each other to shreds.” He said.
The moon goddess pursed her lips and shook her head slightly.
“I cannot interfere in matters of the people. The heavens cannot interfere with the decisions made by men. I have done what I could through dreams and visions”
Kihon sighed and raised his head “Then who will the heavens watch over if the entire race is wiped out by Hades?”
- n. I trust Eden to do what is
The e moon goddess looked away. “I have made necessary precautions to save as many as we can. I required of her.”
Kihon sighed in frustration. “She barely knows how to keep herself alive. How can she save the entire race?” Kihon swiped his hand in the air in a circular movement. Mist gathered and cleared out to an image of Eden on the floor with her eyes closed.
She is suddenly lifted from the ground and taken away by unknown men.
Kihon dropped his hand and the image disappeared. “She is not ready!”
A thunderous sound and lightning suddenly filled the room as the moon goddess struck her staff against the floor.
“Silence!” She bellowed and stood up as she stepped down from the throne. “Do not underestimate the mother of the chosen. one. She is ready”
She struck her staff on the floor once more, and a lightning bolt shorealm from the staff, zapping through the clouds to the realm…
On a lone road that led to the outskirts of the kingdom, a truck moved quickly. The driver was dressed all black in a hood. At the back of the truck, Eden was tied to the vehicle. Her legs and arms were shackled and lips plastered with tape.
A flash, a, lightning bolt hit Eden. Her body jerked up slightly and immediately she opened her eyes with a muted gasp.
Her eyes reflected an electric spark before it returned to its natural color,

Chapter 239
My eyes opened with a start. I felt a strange sensation in my body like an electric buzz. The feeling came with a soft humming sound that made my ears tingle.
I looked down, as if to make sure that my pup was still okay. I took a deep breath of relief when I saw and felt that my baby bump was still the same.
But yet, I had a strange feel, as though something that was dead and deep buried inside me just woke up.
It was like fire charged through my veins in torrents.
I looked around me, and noticed that I was tied in a truck boot with thick ropes. A tape was plastered over my lips and I wriggled it to see if it would come off.
It was no use. Whosoever had placed the tape over my lips did a good job with making sure it doesn’t come off easily, except with the use of one’s hand.
I tugged against the rope on my hand, but nothing happened. The truck kept moving against the ground, shoving my body side to side in the confined space.
Tiara was too alert and our ears picked up every little sound that was made. It was more sensitive than usual.
“Why are we here?” Tiara asked.
I tried to think of what exactly led me to this point, but all I got was a sudden pain in the head.
I winced
1 suddenly went still as I heard a thump, thump. It was the faint sound of a heartbeat. I listened carefully, and suddenly, a feeling of pleasure spread through me.
This wasn’t my heartbeat. It was my baby’s.
Despite the terrible state I was in, a overwhelming sweet feeling washed over me. I was hearing my baby’s heartbeat for the very first time. A tear streaked down my cheeks. I was very happy
Then the sound of the truck became louder in my ears. 1 whined, but the sound was muted by the tape.
Uncomfortable, I moved against the floor of the truck in a squirm. When none of that brought me the relief I sought, I gave up and stared up.
There was no sky. Just some kind of thin wrapping that covered the back of the truck but it was transparent enough to allow sunlight to filter in.
I sniffed.
A sharp sting cut through my lower abdomen and left me with a short scream. I felt the pressure build against my pelvic, and a growl left my throat.
It came and left in a flash, almost as if it was never there, but I was sure of what I felt a moment ago.
Could it be what I think it is?
A contraction?
It couldn’t be.
Panic set in. This wasn’t the right place or time to have my baby. Besides, my pup wasn’t due. I was just in my fourth month. It should be the fifth, not now.
