Chapter 32
Olivia’s POV
Vivian was now in a dilemma.
But I just stood there with a smirk, enjoying the show.
Noticing my gaze, she immediately exclaimed, “What? You think I can’t afford those clothes?”
The shop assistant wanted to say something more, but seeing Vivian seemed about to get angry, she had no choice but to go inside the fitting room and bring out the clothes Hannah and I had tried on.
Vivian’s face stiffened for a moment as she watched the shop assistant come out carrying a pile of clothes half as tall as her.
Then Hannah piped up, mimicking Vivian and Mara, “Madam, can you afford these clothes?”
Vivian’s face darkened. “It’s just a few pieces of clothing. Everyone can afford them! Just show me the bill!”
The shop assistant realized that it was her lucky day, so she quickly printed the bill. After she was done, she beamed at Vivian and said, “Madam, it’s a total of 350,000 dollars. Would you like to pay by card
or…”
I almost burst out laughing.
Vivian was from the working class. Her family were ordinary members of the Dawn Pack.

Her parents ran a small business outside, which totally relied on the Dawn Pack’s connections.
350 thousand wasn’t pocket change for her.
As expected, Vivian almost couldn’t help but blow up.
Yet she didn’t, for Hannah and I were watching her on the side.
Grinding her teeth, she pulled out her card and handed it over. “By card!”
Just after she swiped the card, I casually added, “Help her cut off the price tags. She doesn’t look like someone who would return the goods.”
Upon hearing that, Vivian froze as if I hit a nerve.
Hannah immediately grabbed the scissors and headed over. “Don’t be a stranger. You know I love helping people. Since you bought so many clothes, cutting those tags all by yourself will take ages. Just let me do it for you!”
With that, Hannah started snipping away at those tags one by one.
I stood there and watched the show with a faint smile. Only when she finished did I speak, “Let’s go. Didn’t you say you wanted to buy a handbag?”
Before leaving, I turned back to Vivian and Mara, adding, “Oh, by the way, Miss Smith, are you coming with us? I bet you wanna buy the bags we like so that we’ll end up fruitless and frustrated!”
Though I said “frustrated“, my smile betrayed me.
Mara nudged Vivian and said, “Let’s go! We’re going to be late. Lily’s gonna be pissed!”
Vivian snapped back into reality and cursed under her breath, “I made an

appointment with a friend. I ain’t got time for your stupid game!”
With that, they strutted off with all the bags.
Once they were gone, Hannah couldn’t help but laugh. “Geez! I can’t believe how stupid they are!”
I hummed and said, “Let’s go and hunt for the handbag!”
What a shame! I would love to see Vivian flaunt her wealth again. After all, a handbag could cost her another 350,000 dollars!
In that case, I would definitely pick a dozen favorite handbags to annoy her!
Hannah wiped away happy tears from laughing too hard and said, “You’re so clever, Olivia!”
I raised an eyebrow and thought to myself, ‘Can’t deny it!‘
We were loaded, but it would be foolish to spend it on buying a bunch of clothes just to prove that we did, especially under the verbal provocation of Vivian and Mara.
I reckoned that the two must have learned their lessons today. We would be the last two people in the world that they wanted to see in a mall.
I’d only done one dumb thing in my life–becoming Marsh’s Luna.
Running into Vivian and Mara did kinda ruin my mood, but I got my
revenge.
I was in a good mood today, and now even better. Stepping into the Dior store, I glanced at Hannah. “Go ahead and pick whatever you like. I’ll pay.”
Hannah’s eyes instantly lit up. “Are you serious, Olivia?”

She knew that I had an unlimited black card.
I raised an eyebrow and teased, “You think I can’t cover it?”
“I never said that! In that case, I won’t be a stranger, gal.” She then picked up a handbag in the same style as a Hollywood star’s. It was priced at 650.000 dollars, only two exist in all of LA.
I looked around but didn’t find anything I liked. Any one from my wardrobe was either a classic or a limited edition.
Before the latest designs were released, my mom would have them delivered to my doorstep. I didn’t have any need to buy a bag at all.
After paying the bill without hesitation, I followed Hannah to have a
barbecue.
Around 8 p.m., I got out of Hannah’s flashy car, saying, “I’m going back. Be careful on the way.”
Hannah blew a kiss and exclaimed, “Good night!”
I chuckled, watching her car zoom off into the distance before turning back towards my apartment.
Well, it was a nice day.
The next morning, I received a phone call from Zander as soon as I
arrived at the office.
I gotta admit, he was quite sensible.
Last time we talked about how I wasn’t looking for romance right now, so he stopped pursuing me. And even all that gossip about us online disappeared.
Yet remembered our bet from the racetrack clear as day, and he called me

today just to remind me about it.
I was no coward. Since I lost it, I would fulfill my promise.
After hanging up the phone, I buzzed Wendy on the intercom and asked her to prep a gown for me.
Right after I ended the call, someone knocked on my office door.
“Come in,” I said.
In walked Wendy with a package. “Ms. Johnson, a city–express package for you.”
“For me? But I didn’t buy anything.” I frowned with confusion.
“Yeah, it’s from Alpha Zander,” she told me.
I clicked my tongue and said, “Well, open it for me. Let’s take a look.”
“Sure, Ms. Johnson.”
