Chapter 14
Olivia’s POV
“Where are you going?” Marsh frowned, displeasure written all over his face.
“San Francisco. I’m gonna participate in Zander’s Los Angeles project, and before that, I plan to visit the Blackthorn Pack,” I replied calmly.
“I’ve told you. You are not allowed to leave,” Marsh said with a stern face.
My eyes widened in anger.
“I’ve already promised Alpha Zander,” I emphasized.
“You have no say in this. She’ll leave with me!” Zander roared from behind us, startling Marsh.
His presence, like a dark thunderstorm, exuded a domineering aura, portending impending destruction.
“Alpha Zander.” Marsh nodded to him, arguing, “but she can’t leave. My pack can’t arrange a driver for her!”
Zander pointed to several guards behind him. “I’ve brought many drivers, and I will arrange one for her.”
“Thank you.” I nodded to Zander to express my gratitude.
What Marsh did in front of Zander made me feel like I was insignificant in the pack.
It sucked.
I comforted myself that I would soon be separated from Marsh.
I just hoped to get my company back.
“Alright, go drive for Luna Olivia. We gotta go,” Zander ordered the man
next to him.
The guy came over at once and took the car keys from me. Then he opened the door of the back seat.
Under Marsh’s gloomy gaze, Zander and I got into the car.
As we set out, the Dawn Pack gradually blurred in the view.
I didn’t know if Marsh would get angry, and I didn’t give a damn.
“About your company, I have something to say,” Zander spoke slowly. “Even if you and Alpha Marsh reach an agreement and separate under the witness of the Council of Elders, he will not return your company.”
I lowered my head in dejection.
I understood his point. After all, the businesses and finances of the two companies have already been integrated.
“But you can force him to sell the company,” Zander smiled.
I looked up at him and immediately got his meaning.
Then I asked with expectant eyes, “Do you have any good suggestions?”
“Wonder Company receives investments from both the Blackthorn Pack and the Red Moon Pack. I can arrange for you to start as a manager, and when you are strong enough to control a large company, you can get what
you want.”
I heard my father mention this company.

Zander’s advice sounded good to me.
For now, I didn’t want Marsh to know that my father was the Alpha of the Red Moon Pack.
If he knew that, he would be much less willing to reject me.
Imagining Marsh’s face, I felt the joy of victory, but I knew the battle was far from over.
Three months later.
Hill Hotel, Los Angeles.
I attended a werewolf business meeting with Wendy, the daughter of the Beta of the Red Moon Pack.
Wendy and I had just taken our seats when I heard someone nearby shout. to the person behind me, “Alpha Marsh!”
I looked back. As expected, it was the Alpha of the Dawn Pack, Marsh.
So he was the mystery guest. What a surprise!
A werewolf beside me got up and smiled, “Alpha Marsh, so nice to see you. This is Olivia, the manager of Wonder Company.”
Hearing my name, I raised an eyebrow and got up to greet him. Looking at the stone–faced man in front of me, I extended my hand with a smile. “Alpha Marsh, I’ve heard a lot about you.”
Marsh frowned, obviously displeased with me for pretending not to know him.
After all, I had gone missing for three months, during which he tried to contact me in various ways.

But I never responded.
Since he didn’t treat me as the pack’s Luna, I wouldn’t fulfill the corresponding duties.
Judging from my smiling face, he might know that I’d been doing well since I left the Dawn Pack.
Marsh’s eyes darkened. He ignored my extended hand and took his seat directly.
I indifferently withdrew my hand, and the werewolf nearby changed the subject to smooth things over.
My eyes had never fallen on Marsh.
That werewolf only occasionally mentioned Marsh during the conversation.
After all, the Dawn Pack was a relatively large pack in Los Angeles.
Marsh looked at me with cold eyes throughout the meeting.
The meeting proceeded in this awkward atmosphere and ended quickly.
Afterward, I went to the restroom.
The driver had been waiting at the hotel entrance.
I thought that Marsh and his men had already left. Unexpectedly, I ran into them in the lobby’s rest area after coming out of the elevator.
I looked over and saw Marsh and Beta Jeffrey there.
The sight of them made me avert my gaze and walk straight ahead without sparing a glimpse.
Chapter 14.
Just as I got to the door, a sharp female voice came from behind. “What are you doing here?”
I knew too well of the voice. During the last month at the Dawn Pack, I could hear it on a daily basis.
Hearing Emily’s voice, I paused.
Just as I stopped, Emily rushed up. “Shame on you, Olivia! You have the nerve to come back.”
Since Marsh and I had not completed the reject ceremony, Emily could not become the Luna of the Dawn Pack.
Nor could she show affection with Marsh blatantly to upset me.
What was more, I knew that after Alpha Zander left, he also revealed some gossip about Emily taking the initiative to seduce him.
Emily must have felt upset recently.
Perhaps my appearance prompted an outburst of her suppressed anger.
She quickly walked up to me and raised her hand, preparing to slap my face.
But before the slap could land, I grabbed her wrist.
Emily looked up, only to meet my disdainful look.
“Trying to hit me? I don’t think you can afford the price, Emily!” With that, I slapped Emily hard across her face. “Thanks for reminding me. You owe me a slap.”
I hit her without mercy.
Not far away, Jeffrey heard the noise and looked at Marsh at once.
Chapter 14
Marsh’s face turned cold. After hanging up the phone, he walked straight
towards Emily and me.
Emily, dazed by my slap,
covered her face and cried upon seeing Marsh
coming, “She hit me! She just hit me!”
