Meanwhile, I continued to touch the things I had left in the mansion until I reached
what was supposed to be my bedroom. Caroline’s bed sheets and quilts were on my bed, which made me feel
uncomfortable. Yet, that wasn’t my focus.
Instead, I focused my attention on the closet and gently pressed a button inside the closet. A jewelry box quickly popped out. The jewels and gems inside this jewelry box were all my favorites.
Initially, I wanted to go back to my mansion to use the gems inside to help my parents‘ financial situation. But I didn’t need them anymore.
Not long after that, I heard Caroline‘ s footsteps getting closer. I could hear her running upstairs. When the woman saw me standing in my room, she was pissed.

“Who lets you in? This is my mansion,” she arrogantly spoke.
After that, I turned around to meet the eyes of a woman before me who looked
hysterical yet arrogant.
I couldn’t help but mockingly state,
“Even if you stayed for several years, these things are always mine and never yours. Just because you‘ re living in my mansion, these things become yours?”
Both Anthony and Matthew were excited to hear what seemed to them as admitting that I was Elizabeth.
“Lizzy, you finally admit that you‘ re indeed Elizabeth Wilson.”
Matthew became so excited that he wanted to jump across the bed just to hug me. However, I straight–up ignored him.
Instead, I stood by the window and looked

Anthony spoke first. “Whatever you want as compensation, I’ll give it to you. In fact, I’m also willing to honor our betrothal in the past.”
When Matthew heard it, the man panicked as he wished to have me.
“Elizabeth, Anthony can never do it. He loves Caroline. I’m the only one suitable for you. Actually, I’ve been waiting for you all this time,” Matthew said in panic.
Caroline looked at both of them in disbelief as she watched the two men who used to admire her fighting for me.
On the other hand, the summer rain came. In an instant, the sky became dark as the dark clouds filled the sky. Soon enough, the rain came. It reminded me of that day.

“Anthony, I have no idea that you‘ re this disgusting! Let’s see who can marry Elizabeth!” Matthew shouted back.
Matthew then continued, “Elizabeth, this mansion belonged to yours if I win your heart. I’ve already put your name in the mansion ownership document a long time ago. So, you‘ re free to live here as long as you want.”
When Matthew said that, I pretended to look very happy before him. Anthony was upset about this. Since that man could no longer hold back his rage, he immediately punched Matthew. Immediately, both of them began punching each other.
I already knew that they would end up fighting like this years ago.
