Lenore’s eyes flicked to her computer screen, where the address Regal Villas caught her attention. A smirk played on her lips as she narrowed her beautiful eyes, amused by the unpredictability of Silas.
She leaned back in her chair, casually resting her long legs on the table. With a cigarette poised between her fingers, she waited for the video call to connect before lighting it, the flame flickering to life.
Siren’s presence on the computer screen was mesmerizing. Her magnetic allure and the mature sparkle in her eyes captivated those who saw her, regardless of her expression.
When Lenore’s pretty face showed up on the screen with smoke around her, Siren looked a bit jealous. She smacked her lips, like she wanted to be Lenore, and asked, “What are you up to tonight?”
In the hacker world, Xtreme was a legendary name, but to the business and political elite, this name was seen as a volatile threat. Xtreme’s previous hacks had left a wake of anxiety, particularly in the places that had been breached.
Xtreme’s show–up tonight was bound to be dramatic, likely sending ripples of panic through both the hacker community and high–ranking officials. It was the kind of event that would have the powerful scrambling to shore up their defenses.
Siren’s gaze sharpened through the misty smoke, a thought striking her. “Hey, Boss, you didn’t rush out here just for those rumors about the serum vessel, right?”
The dim room took on a soft hue, the computer’s green light giving Lenore’s face a mix of defiance and innocence. Lenore flicked ash from her cigarette, the red tip briefly glowing as she casually draped her leg over the table, a playful challenge in her posture. “My being out of the loop doesn’t mean I’m out of control.”
Her lips twitched with a sly smile amidst the smoke, a glimmer of ruthlessness showing through. She had a captivating blend of mischief and wildness, a charm that was impossible to ignore
Despite appearing casual, she carried herself with the authority of a natural leader. Her words were bold and confident, and she had a way of brushing off any issue with a simple look.
It was a clear warning, the firmness in her voice making it clear she was a top dog among big shots.
Siren, captivated, remarked with a playful grin, “If you were a man, I’d be proposing right now.” Her eyes danced with a mix of jest and genuine respect.
Few would believe that the 17–year–old girl leading Stormwings Operatives Team Three was a feared figure in the hacker world and respected by high–ranking officials.
Siren paused for a second, then she recalled, “Raptor’s gonna be on your tail for tonight’s big show.”
Insiders knew well that despite Xtreme’s five or six years with the Stormwings Operatives, Xtreme was not controlled by anyone. Even Raptor treaded cautiously around Xtreme. Tonighty events made a confrontation unavoidable.
Lenore’s brows arched high, her eyes blazing with defiance. “Bring it on,” she dared.
Silas heard the news that Xtreme was in Jinslenburg. He set down his laptop, grabbed a towel, and continued drying his hair. After a moment of quiet reflection, he instructed, “Keep an eye on everything happening.”

Wayne received the message promptly, though it left him somewhat stunned. “Xtreme’s flamboyant display, do you reckont it’s meant to intimidate everyone?”
The news about the serum vessel was like waving a red flag–it was sure to send everyone into a panic.
Silas stood up from his chair and walked over to the big windows, the city’s neon lights reflecting off his face, hiding what he really felt. “Looks like someone’s got a plan to use this pandemic to create chaos,” he said thoughtfully.
Wayne, who was usually full of energy, suddenly looked serious So you think Xtreme is making a big show to intimidate the troublemakers?” he asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.
Xtreme wielded significant power, but he had never crossed the line into outright evil. While he had led some impressive campaigns, his motives were often questionable, making it a stretch to call him patriotic.
Wayne scratched his head, clearly confused. “Is Xtreme doing this for the Stormwings Operatives, or is this all about Xtreme’s own agenda?” he inquired.
The Stormwings Operatives were not to be messed with. With their level of influence, they wouldn’t let Xtreme take such a high–profile approach unless it was in Xtreme’s own interest.
Silas paused, the towel hanging loosely in his hand, his eyes darkening with thought. A slight smile flickered on his lips as he said, “Xtreme must be trying to protect someone or something here.” It was the most logical explanation he could come up with.
