Ken had been waiting for a while when Lenore finally walked over, completely ignoring Troy and his family.
Silas casually p pushed Troy aside, took the handkerchief from his subordinate Chuck, and wiped his long fingers clean. Once he was done, he tossed it aside and strolled over to Lenore with his hands in his pockets.
He didn’t say a word, but his presence was enough to make everyone else feel a little on edge.
Wayne’s interest in the scene faded as he noticed both Lenore and Silas leaving. He walked past Troy and paused. “Wanting your daughter’s inheritance while looking down upon her great father.”

Silas and Wayne were in Jinslenburg for business that day. Actually, Wayne had business there and insisted Silas tag along Their destination was Culinary Ascent, and as they parked and walked toward the entrance, they spotted a scene unfolding.
Ken didn’t know Silas but quickly recognized Wayne, the one he had seen many times in the tabloids. Nervously, he greeted Wayne and said, “Hello, Mr. Garcia.”

Lenore Aightly and followed Ken into a side hallway. Once inside, Ken let out a sigh of relief. “Do you know that
little tyrant from the Garcia family in Denisville?”
Lenore raised an eyebrow, casually replying, “Tve fixed their car before.”
Ken was speechless.
In a private room on the third floor, a few members of the traffic police were already seated, various ages among them. As Ken entered, someone asked, “Why are you so late, Mr. Sharpe?”
Ken kept it brief. “I ran into something downstairs.”
The men didn’t press further, instead eyeing the entryway with excitement. “Did Ms. Smedley arrive?” another asked.
“She’s here.” Ken stepped aside to let Lenore in. Dressed in all black, with a bag slung over one shoulder and her hands in her pockets, she walked in with an attitude that was both confident and rebellious.
“Wow…” The men couldn’t take their eyes off her stunning appearance, even after having seen her photos.
Ken cleared his throat and pulled out a chair for Lenore.
Lenore sat down boldly, propping one leg up on the chair, exuding confidence. “What’s going on? Let’s hear it.”
