Unexpectedly, he nodded with a smile:
“How did you know? My favorite thing is a married woman.”
I struggled in terror and struck him hard between the legs.
How could he be so twisted!
“You wretch, how dare you kick me?”
The Second Young Master quickly dodged and slapped me across the face.
He was strong, and blood instantly trickled from the corner of my mouth.
My hair fell down, and my pitiful look only fueled his desire to dominate.
He lunged at me, pinning me down:
“Don’t think I don’t know Asher has always supported my brother behind the scenes. I may be a bit of a player, but the family wealth should be mine!”
I struggled desperately:
“Stop!”
He suddenly touched my stomach:
“What if there’s a child of mine here? I’ll tell you, even if I can’t have all the wealth, my child will!”
I couldn’t believe he had become so deranged.
Despair filled my heart.
He looked at me and laughed heartily:
“Why the long face? Today is our wedding day, you should be smiling!”
“Is that so? But, Nora is my wife.”
Suddenly, Asher’s cold, piercing voice came from the door.
When I woke up again, I found myself back in the familiar bedroom.
Asher, with bloodshot eyes, held my hand tightly:
“Nora, it’s all my fault. I didn’t protect you well enough.”

Once I realized it wasn’t a dream, I threw myself into his arms.
The tension in my nerves finally relaxed, and I cried uncontrollably:
“Asher, I was so scared, so afraid he would defile me!”
His eyes were filled with heartache:
“If anything ever happens to you, I’ll make sure he pays in blood.”
I choked up, looking into his eyes:
“Are you mad at me? I didn’t mean to hide it from you. I’m not actually Celeste…”
“Nora, I know your true identity. You’ve been through a lot. Just rest for now.”
He suddenly interrupted me, gently stroking my hair.
But I still felt insecure, clutching his hand:
“Don’t leave. I can’t sleep alone.”
He lay down beside me, gently patting my back:
“Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.”
In this comforting environment, I finally closed my eyes and fell into a much–needed sleep.
“Sir, please spare me! After all, I’m her biological sister, blood is thicker than water!”
The next morning, Celeste’s cries woke me from my sleep.
I rubbed my eyes, seeing Celeste in tattered clothes, kneeling by my bed, bowing her head, no longer the proud heiress she once was.
Asher calmly took a handkerchief and wiped the water from his hands:
“What sister? The Second Young Master’s wedding car was attacked by criminals on the road. The Second Lady is already dead, and the Parker Family is preparing for the funeral.”
Celeste’s face turned white with fear:
“No no no! I’m not the First Lady, I’m the Second Lady Celeste! I’m your wife!”
Asher chuckled with interest:
“My wife just woke up and is lying in bed, you must be mistaken.”
As soon as she saw me, Celeste stumbled toward me:
“Sister! I really know I was wrong! Please save me!”
I didn’t say a word.
She tried to grab my hand:
“I know I shouldn’t have let you marry the Second Young Master, that lunatic, but even if he married me, he wouldn’t treat me well. He found out about me and the Billionaire! He’ll kill me!”
So that’s the truth, I clenched my fist, suppressing the shock in my heart.
Celeste continued to cry:
“When I woke up, I tried to bang my head against the wall to kill myself, but Asher was there, and the Billionaire, even though he slept with me,

Asher’s expression remained calm:
“The Billionaire knew all along about your affair with the Second Young Master. He always favored the Second Young Master, marrying you to me was just to teach you a lesson, but you still turned out this foolish.”
My sister looked at him in disbelief:
“How is that possible! The Second Young Master’s mother’s family is prestigious, and his uncle is willing to help him. If he inherits the company, he won’t treat me poorly!”
Asher suddenly nodded:
“I actually tried reasoning with a fool.”
“On our wedding night, I knew my wife was the eldest daughter. The Billionaire loves a particular perfume, and I had the scent on me from helping him. But because of that mistake, you get headaches from the smell. You even went to the hospital for a check–up, didn’t you?”
My sister backed away frantically:
