After I sent the photos to the real estate agent, someone quickly came to view the house.
We were about to sign the contract when Amber suddenly burst through the door.
Her face was furious:
“Who said you could rent out the house?”
“Didn’t we say my brother would move in after he starts working?”
“This is my house. I have the right to deal with it as I see fit.”
After learning that I was moving away with Kevin, Amber had been hinting that since the house would be empty, her brother could move in.

This little interruption didn’t affect my signing of the contract.
After instructing the agent about the security issues of the house, they left with the contract.
Seeing them leave, Amber immediately called someone in from outside and put on a smiling face for me.
It was her brother, Ryan.
“I’m sorry I got so excited just now, Snow. Don’t take it to heart.”
“Hurry up and beg Snow to let you live in the house.”
With that, she was about to push her brother’s head down to bow to me.
Was she trying to guilt–trip me?
I quickly stepped aside:
“The house has already been rented out. Breaking the contract would require paying three times the compensation. I think you’d better find
another place for your brother to live.”
Hearing this, Ryan’s face immediately darkened. He turned to Amber and cursed:
“Damn it, are you tired of living? I acted like a grandson and put on a smile, and in the end I still can’t move in?”
“I don’t care what method you use, find me a house quickly. If you delay me and my girlfriend moving in, see how I’ll deal with you.”
His face was contorted with anger, spewing vicious words one after another.
Amber’s face turned red from being scolded, but she didn’t talk back.
Worried that he might get violent, I quickly called Kevin.
In the end, Amber compromised and agreed to find him another place to live. Only then did the two of them leave my house.
Kevin was also quite scared and hurried to comfort me.
“The handover at work is almost done. We’ll move in a couple of days.”
I nodded, still feeling a bit shaken.

Amber’s whole family were vicious people. For our safety, we had to move away quickly.
I thought everything was about to be settled, but the tenant who had already signed the contract suddenly breached it.
I asked several times but couldn’t get a clear answer,
My intuition told me that the reason must still be related to Amber.
I called the rental agent. Afraid that I might ask for a refund of the commission, he told me everything.
It turned out that after the tenant left, Ryan had approached him.
Ryan, with his bulky figure, spoke menacingly and made it clear that he had already reserved my house.
If he really moved in, who knows how much trouble he would cause.
With a heavy heart, I thought it over and decided to return the tenant’s deposit.
