Chapter 10
Isabel raised her hand to her face and looked at Caelan in disbelief.
Then, she dropped a surprising piece of news. “Caelan, how can you still defend this woman?
“What about the baby I’m carrying? Are you just going to ignore that?!”
Caelan looked completely stunned. He shook his head and denied, “No way, that can’t be true!”
He turned to me with an anxious look. “Nellie, I didn’t!”
His weak explanation did not affect me at all.

With bloodshot eyes, he grabbed Isabel by the hair and started hitting her.
While punching her, he yelled, “If it weren’t for you, Nellie wouldn’t have left me! You made me like this!
“I’ll kill you, you wretch!”
Finally, a bystander tried to step in but was violently pushed to the floor by Caelan.
I quickly called for airport security, and an ambulance arrived just in time.
It took a few police officers to pull the out–of–control Caelan off Isabel, who was lying in a pool of blood. She was barely conscious and looked unrecognizable.
In the end, I was also taken to the police station to give a statement.
As I was leaving, I glanced at Caelan in the holding cell

Chapter 101
He no longer looked like the exuberant man he once was.
Slumped over and covered in blood, he sat there muttering to himself like a madman.
