Chapter 6
After Frankle arrived home, he saw the chaotic scene and quickly asked what had happened.
Krista presented the prepared speech she had long been ready with.
“Crystal Villa has been renovated and it is close to your workplace. You should move in for more convenience.”
Thinking about the last property agreement he signed, Frankie nodded.
After changing his shoes, he walked to the edge of the sofa and sat down, recalling the layout of the house in his mind while chatting
with her.
“Don’t you like raising flowers? How about clearing out the east balcony and planting flowers there?”
After a few seconds of silence, Krista spoke softly.
“No need, I had already quit this hobby.”
Frankie Instinctively looked at the fresh lily on the table and couldn’t help but feel that it hadn’t told the truth.
Just as he was about to persirkle again, he suddenly noticed that the boxes being moved by the staff seemed to contain his belongings, so he involuntarily changed the topic.
“How come everything that was moved is mine, what about yours?”
“They all moved away.”
Frankie, thinking that she had already moved to a new home, didn’t ask any further when he heard her answer so quickly.
He got up and poured a glass of water, casually giving a few instructions.
“Could you please make sure to label all the items and make sure they are placed in the correct room after they are delivered?”
Krista glanced at him quietly, her eyes flickering slightly, as she held back some words in her throat.
It won’t go wrong.
Because of the new house, there were only your things
After everything was sorted out, Frankie helped Krista downstairs.
As they stepped out of the elevator, they bumped into Rosa and Alden head–on, leaving all of them momentarily stunned.
Frankie had never imagined such a situation would occur. A hint of panic flashed in his eyes as he let go of her hand and took two steps
forward, standing in front of her.
“How did you come here?”
Alden raised an eyebrow and said, “Rosa said she wanted to come and visit your new house, and since I haven’t been there yet, I asked your parents for the address. I planned to come over and give you a surprise.”
And Rosa’s gaze remained fixed on Krista.
If she didn’t remember incorrectly, she should have seen this lady at least twice, right?
Once at the law firm, once outside the bar.
Her strong intuition made her unable to help but become curious about her identity, so she smiled and tried to probe with a couple of
sentences.
“Frankle, who is this?”
Frankie’s rare silence Indicated that he was still contemplating how to introduce himself.

Krista had a calm and expressionless face, even extending a friendly hand toward Rosa.
“Krista, Mr. Barnes‘ college classmate, I recently went through a divorce, so I came to seek help from an old friend. Unfortunately, he was in the process of moving, which was quite inconvenient.”
Frankie was awakened by a single word. He first glanced guiltily at Krista, and then followed her lead, introducing a few people they knew.
Although everything seemed normal, Rosa still had some doubts in her mind.
But with so many people around and so many eyes watching, she couldn’t ask any more questions. She urged her brother to help with moving together.
Rosa then walked up to Krista and started chatting with her.
“Krista, why did you get divorced?”
Krista didn’t expect herself to be so outgoing. After a few seconds of being stunned, she chuckled softly.
Upon hearing that she had also experienced the same ordeal, Rosa immediately felt sympathy and couldn’t help but console her.
“I was almost the same, but it’s okay. As long as you get divorced, everything will be fine. Frankie will definitely help you get through this difficult time.”
Yes, the most difficult part was signing the document, and he did indeed help.
Krista nodded and continued with her words.
“I heard that he was also the one who handled your case, so I assume he must have put in a lot of effort.”
Rosa’s face showed a shy expression, and her tone became cheerful.
“Yeah, Frankie really helped a lot. He collected evidence for me to sue my ex–husband while also staying by my side to protect my personal safety. If it wasn’t for him stepping up, I might have been dead by now under the hands of that lunatic ex–husband of mine. As she looked at her, reminiscing about these unforgettable past events with a sweet smile on her face, Krista was momentarily stunned and blurted out an untimely question.
“Do you like Prankie?”
Upon hearing this question, Rosa froze all over, agonized for a long time, and then hesitantly answered her.
“I didn’t know either. At first, I only saw him as a brother. Since we were young, he would often take me out to play and take care of me everywhere. He would even prepare many gifts for me. When I was bullied at school, he would step forward to argue and fight with the person, ending up with injuries all over his body. When he found out that I got divorced, he took the initiative to come to my door and offer help. Later, I heard from my brother that Frankie had actually secretly liked me for a long time…”
