“Someone like you, daring to pick a fight with my fiancee? Your eyes must be really blind.”
Catherine was left speechless by Luke’s sharp words, her face turning red as she struggled to find a retort.
She could only feel wronged and ask Ethan to stand up for her and seek justice.
However, the next second, Ethan, who had been holding her hand, suddenly pulled his hand away and slapped her hard across the face.
“Who allowed you to slander Kate like that? What do you think you are, shouting and making a scene here?”

Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. “Do you know that I’m already pregnant? How could you do this to me?”
Ethan’s expression showed panic, but it was directed at me. “It’s impossible! Kate, listen to me explain! We always took precautions, so it must be that Catherine, the slut, used some trick to trap me!”
Even though I had already suspected the dirt and filth between them, seeing them like this now still made me feel disgusted and want to throw up.

Looking at the red booklet with a smiling photo of us in white shirts, a simple yet reassuring sense of happiness spread in my heart.
