Chapter 5
Upon hearing my words, Geovanni gave me a cold look and said, “Abby Stanley, have you had enough of causing trouble?”
“Marilyn was pregnant, she was an expectant mother and needed to be taken care of properly. Can you please stop making a fuss?”
My gaze involuntarily fell on the spot where I had fallen, which was already clean, and the harmful glass beads had also been thrown away by the butler.
But I remembered the surveillance footage that the butler had given me.
When I saw Warren holding a handful of marbles and scattering them at the stairway, then
screaming downstairs with a mischievous smile on his face, “Mom, my head hurts.”
Seeing him standing there, watching me unconscious after I fell, not even calling the police, until the panicked butler and servants he ordered around came back and rushed towards me.
These images were deeply engraved in my mind, making me tremble all over.
I couldn’t believe it no matter what, that the child I desperately gave birth to turned out to be so
malicious. In the past
when he sided with Marilyn, I would barely console myself by saying that
Warren was young and didn’t know any better.
But now I can’t console myself no matter what.
Am I not good
treating me ugh to Geovanni and War Am I not humble enough to them? Why are they
I sneered and
this?
Oooked at the butler, “Since when did strangers become allowed in the house? They
dare to off in
front of me and haven’t been thrown out yet… Oh, by the way, this woman is pregnant. Don’t cause her to have a miscarriage and then blame it on me later.”
The butler nodded and made a phone call to the bodyguard.
Geovanni’s face turned grim. “What do you mean, you don’t want to continue like this anymore?” gasped, covering my mouth in surprise, and asked him curiously, “Who are you guys? Your wife is pregnant, why are you staying at my house? Is my place some kind of refugee shelter?”
Geovanni shouted, “Enough! Have you gone mad? How dare you insult us like this!”
I suppressed the smile on my face and stared fixedly at Geovanni.
Seven years ago, I caught a glimpse of him at the old house, which made me deeply attached to him.
But now I find him so unfamiliar.
It made me feel scared to be so unfamiliar.

Geovanni was still speaking, “If it weren’t for you forcing me to break up with Marilyn, I would have already married her and had children!”
Upon hearing this, I laughed.
The bodyguards arrived quickly and politely escorted Marilyn out, while Geovanni and Warren did not receive such good treatment and were thrown out of the villa.
I stood at the door, watching the father and son in a disheveled state, and felt some of the resentment in my heart dissipate.
Geovanni angrily said, “Abby, you treated us like this, you better not think you’ll get away with it.”
He helped Warren up and anxiously asked Marilyn if she was okay. Marilyn’s eyes shifted, and she cried out in pain while clutching her stomach. Seeing this, Warren angrily rushed towards me.
He was fast, and coupled with the fact that I had just been discharged from the hospital and my body was still weak, he managed to push me to the ground.
Warren felt a sharp pain in his body and angrily raised his fist, “If anything happens to my siblings, I won’t let you off the hook…”
Seeing the fist about to come down quickly, the bodyguard reacted promptly and quickly grabbed
his hand.
I watched him coldly, while Warren still wanted to rush up and bite me. I laughed out in despair, “I- really raised an ungrateful son.”
“Get divorced.”
