I was about to graduate from college when my boyfriend, Alden Willis, suddenly broke up with me.
He gave me a villa, a Bentley, and 480 thousand dollars, thanking me for four years of companionship.
I was confused and wondered why we had to break up.
He said coldly, “Shirley, for someone from my kind of family, love, and marriage are meant to be separate. Now I am going back to forming alliances through marriage. Got it?”

When I rushed to the engagement venue, I saw Alden on the stage.
He was wearing a haute couture suit, with obsidian cufflinks, and he looked incredibly handsome.
The woman standing opposite him, on the other hand, appeared to be only about 1.4 meters tall and was very fat. Her face was covered in greasy pimples as if they were about to burst at any moment.

Yesterday, I returned to the villa from my internship company and was immediately pinned down on the bed by Alden.
He bent down and kissed me, his voice hoarse as he said, “Darling, tonight treat me like a beast.”

When I woke up, he was already gone.
The phone number became disconnected, and social media platforms like WhatsApp and Twitter were also deactivated.
He disappeared from my world as if suddenly, catching me off guard.
Then, his lawyer came to his house.
When the lawyer arrived, it was noon.
He said that Alden had specifically instructed him to come again at noon, otherwise it would disturb
my rest.
Then, he took out a document and gave it to me.
I looked at the documents and felt very confused.

This was a gift document, which stated that Alden voluntarily donated the villa, Bentley, and 480 thousand dollars to me as a gift for our four years of love during university.
So he inexplicably dumped me and treated me like a canary, throwing money at me?
But I didn’t lack money at all.

I also didn’t bother to care, because I loved him.
What happened that caused the breakup when everything was fine?
Last night, he, who was usually so aloof, was unexpectedly proactive and intense, almost the entire night he kept saying that he loved me.

I could tell that Alden was not happy. Was he being forced to get engaged to this woman?

Then, I saw the woman trying to hold Alden’s hand.

The woman became unhappy, her plump lips flapped, spitting out saliva as she said, “You forgot the thing you promised me so quickly?”
Alden’s face turned pale, but he took a step forward.
He must have been threatened!
I immediately pushed my way out of the crowd and shouted at Alden, ” Alden, tell me if you have any difficulties. Don’t trouble yourself!”

eyes were on me.
After Alden saw me, there was a hint of joy in his cold eyes, but it quickly turned frosty.
“Who is this despicable person?”
The woman glared at me and said, “You called my fiancé, very intimately, huh?”
I was just about to introduce myself when Alden interrupted me.
Alden furrowed his noble brows and said, “She’s just a bootlicker, we should just kick her out and not pay any attention to her.”
