Chapter 9
Upon hearing this, Macey became angry and exclaimed, “What nonsense are you talking about!”
Kyla was not polite, “I didn’t make it up, see for yourself, this meat is all rotten!”
On the first day of my business opening, there were many people around me. Now, hearing her say this, everyone looked over. I was shocked in my heart and panicked, saying, “How is this possible? Macey, quickly report to the police, and also sue the supply and marketing cooperative!
Macey realized it, Kyla didn’t expect me to report to the police.
I held her hand and said, “Thank you, this guest. My meat is bought from the supply and marketing cooperative every day, and the flour is the same. The invoices are all here. If it’s pork from an old sow, then you must help me testify!”
Kyla immediately panicked and stuttered, unable to speak. She tried to break free from me, but I held onto her tightly and whispered, “Do you want to tarnish my reputation? Kyla, I am not the same Briley as before!”
After the police arrived, they investigated the cause. I presented the receipts, and the people from the cooperative also came. Upon hearing this, they were extremely angry.
Kyla also panicked, and Macey and the others were not polite. They directly pulled her over, and as a result, two steamed buns fell out of her bag.
“This is what we sold to you! Kyla, you framed and set me up!”
I watched her coldly, knowing well in advance that she was up to no good. I noticed it as soon as she
started.
The evidence is here now, Kyla panicked, and the police did not hesitate, they directly took her away in handcuffs!
And because of this little incident, my steamed bun shop directly proved that my flour and pork from legitimate channels, without any deception, and business became even more booming!
Kyla was fined money and detained for a week. After she was released, Zain came to her door with a few more fingerprints on his face, indicating that he had argued with Kyla.
“Briley, I’m sorry.”
I shook my head and said, “You just need to make sure Kyla doesn’t bother me anymore in the future!”
“If you can’t handle your woman, don’t come back later!”
ain lowered his head and said in a deep voice, “Briley, I regret it. After you left, I realized that this home really couldn’t be without you!”
I couldn’t help but laugh, “Are you regretting it now? Regretting that no one is saving money for you, or regretting marrying your ideal little green plum? She couldn’t care for you and understand you like before; do you feel a huge difference?”
“The only thing you didn’t regret was that you played both sides, constantly changing your mind. So, no matter how much you say, it can’t hide the fact that you are a scumbag!”
I mercilessly exposed his true colors.
Zain’s face turned green instantly, while Macey laughed on the side. “Zain, you borrowed 20 dollars from the Luo family last time, and you need to repay it as soon as possible. The end of the approaching, and every household is struggling!”
“Instead of coming here to apologize, it would be better to take care of your own Kyla!”
Zain was ashamed and turned away.
year is
I heard about it later from Macey. Kyla, dissatisfied with Zain’s inability to make money, started dating a rich second–generation.
After Zain came back from his mission, he saw Kyla and a man hugging and cuddling. Immediately, he brutally beat up the man and caused Kyla to have a miscarriage.
Under pressure,
the second–generation rich did not pursue it, but Zain was forced to change
careers and returned to his hometown with Kyla dejectedly.
Before leaving, Zain looked at me from a distance, his eyes filled with deep affection, while Kyla had a pale complexion and seemed quite unwilling.
I looked back at them and then averted my gaze.
Unrelated individuals only affected the pace
of my money–making endeavors.
After that, I never saw them again, only occasionally receiving sporadic updates from Macey.
Zain got a job as a full–time worker at the steel factory, while Kyla, being stubborn as ever, continued to pursue her own small business. As a result, she was deceived and lost all her money.
Zain used to argue and fight with her frequently, making life a mess.
Macey hugged me and said, “Briley, the daughter of fortune does not enter the door of misfortune. He hindered you, and without him, you are doing better and better!”
This divorce was right!
Haughed, yeah, it was right.
I had hands and feet, not relying on any man, and I would have a befter future.
