Turned around and saw the two of them behind the counter. Kyla was holding a red coat and gesturing with it on herself, while Zain stood silently beside her.
Kyla couldn’t hold back the expression on her face, “Just because I bought two pieces of clothing, you give me a hard time. You were never like this before!”
Zain looked worried and said, “Kyla, you have already bought two items this month. If we continue
like this, we won’t have any money left for the New Year.”
“What’s the big deal? Just go and borrow it!”
Kyla looked at him and said, “Marrying a man means dressing and eating, with someone like you, what good days can I have with you!”
“Back then, Keyon Shannon never cared about how I spent my money!”
Keyon is her ex–husband.
Zain’s face darkened, “No money! And I won’t lend any either!”

Kyla returned the clothes with a sullen expression, and the cashier couldn’t help but roll their eyes, “If you can’t afford it, then don’t buy it.”
