On the day Zain Cooper got married, his childhood sweetheart’s husband died. Zain immediately. left me and took her home.
I managed the wedding all by myself, and the whole courtyard was laughing at me.
When he abandoned me for the hundredth time, I became disheartened and filed for divorce.
I held Zain’s hand, my face full of anticipation, “Please don’t go.”
“Briley Hubbard, Kyla lost her husband, I have to go and see her, you don’t understand!”
‘I will come back to see you, and everyone will understand!”
Ridiculous. Understand?
He pried open my hand and left me alone at the wedding venue.
I was completely disheartened. I didn’t want a man like this anymore.
Facing the sympathetic gazes of the crowd, I forced back my tears bit by bit and exclaimed loudly, “I’m sorry, today, the wedding is canceled!”
The crowd was in an uproar.
The neighbor’s wife held my hand and said, “Briley, you must not be angry. It was his fault, but you
guys, this…”
“That day I saw Mr. Murillo chatting and laughing with a female colleague. Mr. Murillo even said that give your job position to her.”
Upon hearing this, the neighbor’s wife was furious.
“Who! I’ll kill her!”
I forced a bitter smile and said, “Yeah, you wanted to kill someone I randomly mentioned, but L
actually went through all of it.”
She stopped talking and just muttered, “Well, well, we can’t just give up like this!”
However, she didn’t insist anymore.
Itreated everyone to a meal, we didn’t have a wedding, but we still had to eat.
In response to their sympathetic and playful gazes, I remained calm and composed. However, as
pon as I sent off the last group of guests, I couldn’t help but burst into tears.
I met Zain through a blind date, and I fell in love with him at first sight. After we became a couple, it
didn’t take long for me to find out about Kyla Gordon’s existence.
Zain fold me, “Kyla has already married and she was my childhood friend.”
“Kyla would like you for sure.”
“Kyla loves eating pickled plums, Briley, could you make some more?”
“Kyla…”
There were too many figures of Kyla between us.
Zain and I got into an argument, but he frowned and said, “Briley, I have a clean and innocent relationship with her, why is your mind so dirty?”
My heart sank, but I loved him so much that I fell for him again after apologizing.
The time when we argued the most, I suggested a divorce to him, but Zain didn’t agree.
I proposed, “Every time you see her in the future, I will put a bean in this bottle. Once it is filled with
a hundred beans, we will break up, and you will never have a chance again.”
Zain agreed, in his opinion, how could there be that much? It was one hundred!
But now, when I put the last one in, the bottle was full.
Zain, you had no chance.
Zain didn’t come back, I knew he couldn’t come back temporarily, so I went directly to find his
superior.
When his superior saw me, he already knew what had happened.
Before he could say a word, I knelt!
“Randall, please, for the sake of my father’s dignity, let me get a divorce!”
My father was Randall’s old comrade, but we lost contact after he sacrificed his life back then.
I didn’t meet Zain until I saw him again after my mother’s death, through his introduction.
He used to be our matchmaker, but now, with things turning out like this, Randall sighed.
“Briley, you had thought about it, this was Zain’s fault, but it happened suddenly…”
“Kyla’s family was all there, but no matter how Zain didn’t need to go, let alone today being the wedding”
