I moved out of that apartment. I relocated to a small house that I had bought for myself.
Darren and Vivie’s wedding was
scheduled for tomorrow.
During his memory loss, they might have discussed their wedding plans and
preparations went by quickly.
Darren’s parents had both passed away in a car accident a few years ago, so the wedding procedures were much simpler.
On the eve of the wedding, Ned and Juan came to visit me.

country.

I thought of what the doctor had said.
When Darren was going through withdrawal symptoms, he only allowed Vivie to be near him.
Vivie seemed to have found my weak spot. As the makeup artist placed the veil on her, she looked at me with a smile and said, “If you’re here to bring me a wedding gift, I welcome you.”
“But if you’re here to ruin my wedding, I think Darren will hate you even more.”
After saying that, she smiled and lifted the hem of her dress, passing by me.
The room was filled with the scent of lily of the valley and for the first time, I felt a

I tightened my grip on the USB drive in my hand, holding it so tightly that it felt like I might embed it into my flesh.
In the end, I managed to hold back. I loosened my grip and tossed it into the trash can.
Elegant piano music drifted in from outside. The wedding had begun.
