Husband let his mistress’s dog bite me Chapter 7

Chapter

After returning to my desk, I calmly wiped my hands and finished processing the work I had on hand.

Initially, I hadn’t planned to deal with the situation any further

But then, the sound of shouting through a loudspeaker drifted up from outside

Lydia from Faith Group is a homewrecker! She ruins families!”

The words were repeated over and over outside the building

I pushed open my office door, walked downstairs, and made my way to the commotion, all while my colleagues watched in stunned curiosity

A middleaged woman was standing there, loudly broadcasting her accusations through a megaphone

I snatched it out of her hand and demanded, Who told you to do this?”

The woman looked me up and down, her eyes lighting up as she recognized me

You’re Lydia, aren’t you

You homewrecker! Shameless mistress! You destroyed someone’s marriage

Today, I’m going to get justice for the girl you hurt!”

Before I could even respond, the woman grabbed me and forced me to the ground

Her wide hand slapped across my face, leaving a stinging pain that spread quickly

A crowd gathered around us, murmuring and pointing fingers as the woman ranted on

A general manager is out here being someone’s mistress?”

Looks like the real wife finally sent someone to expose her!”

Hab Lused to compliment how pretty she was and even bought their products Disausting!”

11:25 AM

Who knows, maybe she’s been sleeping her way up the ladderthat’s why their products are so cheap.”

Pinned to the ground, I could hear every word of their judgment but couldn’t fight back

The woman, however, was getting more and more aggressive

You shameless mistress! You homewrecker! I’ll beat you to death!”

It wasn’t until the company’s security guards arrived and pulled her off me that I managed to stand up, disheveled and humiliated

But some in the crowd, including a few shoppers passing by, started throwing vegetables at me

All the frustration I had bottled up these past days came to a head

I strode straight over to the woman who had attacked me and slapped her twice across the face

Who gave you the right to call me a mistress?I demanded

Did you see it with your eyes? Where’s your proof?”

The woman pulled a stack of photos from her pocket and flung them into the air

I picked one up

It was

photo of me at a company dinner, and I was drinking with colleagues

There were also pictures of me shaking hands while signing contracts..

Those were completely normal and professional moments, but they had been twisted into evidenceof me being a mistress

You’re saying this is proof I’m a mistress

Do you even know what signing a contract is? Do you understand what a business dinner entails?”

I called out everyone who had been present at those events

Not a single person could accuse me of any inappropriate behavior with anyone

Realizing she had been cornered, the woman turned to flee but was caught and pinned down by the company’s security guards

Tell me, what’s the real story here

Who told you I was a mistress? Or who sent you to do this

If you don’t answer, I’ll call the police right now and have you sent to jail!”

My words clearly terrified her, and she spilled everything like water from a broken dam

I marched into the crowd of onlookers and dragged Flora out by her arm

The smug look of schadenfreude on her face froze as she met my gaze

Was it her?I asked the woman

The middleaged woman nodded

I slapped Flora across the face without hesitation

Are you insane? I’ve already ignored the fact that you’re trying to steal my husband, and now you’re spreading lies about me

You love Byron so much? Fine, take him! I’ll gift him to you

Lignored you, and you just keep pushing your luck, don’t you?”

11:25 AM

His eyes filled with concern for her swollen face as he turned to me

Lydia, you’ve gone too far

You didn’t even ask for the truth before hitting Flora!”
