I didn’t have a mom.
A kid at preschool said his parents got divorced and he didn’t like his new stepmom. He was unhappy every day.
I was scared, because Daddy said I was going to have a mom now.
The boy said his new mom called him naughty and never listened to him.
So I asked Daddy to buy a teddy bear as a gift.
He said his new mom wouldn’t let him call her “Mom“, only “Auntie“.
But I found out it wasn’t like that at all.
Mommy is so nice.
She lets me call her Mommy and even gave me a gift.
Mommy reads me stories every night and helps me with homework.
She doesn’t scold me when I don’t do well on tests.
She takes me out to play and teaches me lots of things not in books.
That time Mommy took me to the reunion.
That mean lady said Mommy wouldn’t like me anymore if she had a baby in her tummy.
