At that moment, her professionalism kicked in as she couldn’t help but think that she was in her operating room, slicing her patient’s skin. She immediately lost her appetite after that.
She didn’t want to ruin the mood, so she put down her life unhappily. She would take a few sips of her wine occasionally.
Dominic had assumed she just found it difficult to cut the steal, so he took her plate over and helped her cut her steak into smaller pieces. “Here you go.” Looking at the tenderness in his eyes, Bella immediately found herself falling harder for him.
