Chapter 179 Completely Inappropriate
Bella was concerned that the current situation would take a huge emotional toll on Ian. Hence, she decided to stop by his office when it wasn’t busy. But just as she was about to walk in, a pretty nurse rushed out with her face flushing red. It was hard not to imagine what had happened.
If Ian cared about what others thought of him, he wouldn’t be in the mood to engage in such activities. For a second, she wondered if she had overthought the situation. After all, the fact that Ian managed to walk away from yesterday’s events showed his resilience.
Just as she was leaving, Ian stepped out of his office. He didn’t look the least bit embarrassed upon seeing her. Instead, he asked with a slightly suggestive tone, “Dr. Jones, are you looking for me?”
His words left Bella speechless, and she asked, “Can’t you act normally? What were you doing in there with the nurse? You should be aware of where we are now. I came because I was worried that the gossip might’ve upset you, but it seems I was worried for no reason.”

Lia called Bella in the afternoon and asked if she wanted to meet for dinner.

Bella remembered Dominic’s instruction to stay home or in the hospital and avoid going elsewhere. She hesitated before asking Lia to meet her at the hospital’s parking garage. She figured they could grab a quick meal and return before Dominic noticed.

At the end of her shift, she dashed to the parking garage. It was connected to the building next door and highly spacious. She couldn’t see Lia near her car, so she called her while searching
the area.
Suddenly, she saw Ian’s car bouncing oddly out of the corner of her eyes. Her first assumption was that a criminal was trying to break into the car and steal something.

Her mind went blank for two seconds before she realized what was happening. Her face flushed, and she ran away, disregarding her shoe completely.

Since Bella couldn’t reach Lia’s phone, she could only wait in her car, and her view was of Ian’s
