1 saved every photo Savanna Harlow sent me before giving her a call.
There was no need for coaxing–she eagerly spilled all the details of her affair with Gavin
Carter.
From his initial sponsorship to their first meeting, her tone was giddy, as if reliving a romantic fairytale.
She even described their first night together–every pose, every detail.
When I expressed skepticism, she sent me a video, shameless and explicit enough to
rival adult films.
I stared at the footage, thinking how wrong Gavin had been about her. The “poor,
innocent girl” he had protected was a cunning opportunist. She had filmed this with a
single goal: securing her place in my life.
“Savanna, let’s make a deal,” I said, glancing at the wedding photo on my nightstand.

Vivian’s face went pale as she flipped through the explicit photos. Her lips quivered with
fury.
“Aria, you’re useless! You couldn’t even hold onto your husband. What good were you as
a wife?”
Of course, she blamed me. “Perhaps your son prefers this type. Maybe I was too young and naive back then to see the true nature of the Carter family.”
“You orphaned gold digger-”
I grabbed her wrist mid–slap, my voice icy. “You’re right. I wasn’t worthy. But your next daughter–in–law? She’s a student your son sponsored. Surely, she’ll fit right in.”
I came to their home with one purpose: to burn every bridge.
I knew that when Gavin inevitably faced obstacles during the divorce, his mother would become my most substantial leverage.
