Chapter 7
At that moment, the entire room fell silent. Everyone stared, stunned, realizing that my identity was far more significant than they had imagined. They had truly
underestimated the situation.
I looked at them coldly, then addressed the police with a firm tone, “Officer, these people publicly slandered me, assaulted me and destroyed antique paintings and calligraphy worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I refuse any mediation in this matter. Please handle it seriously.”
The police nodded and quickly escorted everyone involved to the station. Before they left, they instructed me to bring proof of the damaged items‘ value, including purchase invoices and medical reports, so that they could hold everyone accountable.
After going to the hospital to treat my injuries and obtaining all the necessary documents, I headed to the police station.

Chapter 7
Inside, the old classmates who had been so confident earlier were now filled with dread. They had flattered Logan because of his ties to Lily, believing him to be the future head of Besla Business Group. They had hoped to align themselves with him for personal gain. But now, they discovered that the man they had been mocking, the so–called “soft rice man,” was the true powerhouse.
Their faces twisted with disgust, as if they had eaten something vile and they shot glaring looks at Logan. The man who had been so arrogant moments before was now a shell of himself, shocked beyond measure. Not only did he face the financial repercussions of his actions, but his pride had been shattered. The wedding he had planned was now a laughingstock and he was the butt of every joke.
The police began to assess the damage I reported, calculating that the total was nearly nine hundred and sixty million.
dollars. The room fell into stunned silence.

“This… this can’t be real,” someone. muttered. “How could he be so rich?”
“Comrade officers, don‘ t let him fool you!” another protested. “We‘ ve known him since high school–he was just an ordinary guy, nothing like a rich person.”
Others chimed in, trying to deflect suspicion, suggesting that my wealth must come from dirty money. The police officer in charge sneered and replied, “We’ve already investigated. He’s the son of one of the richest men in the world. His wealth is beyond what any of you can imagine. His low profile is why you thought you could bully him.”
The officer’s words shut them all up. He continued, “The damages alone are enough to land you at the bottom of a jail cell. Instead of questioning his identity, you should focus on how you‘ re going to

for the destruction. He’s made it clear that he will not accept any mediation.”

Chapter 7
I let out a cold laugh and responded
sharply, “Now you remember that we‘ re classmates? Where was that sense of camaraderie when you were beating me and destroying my things?”
“Were you so arrogant when you were smashing my belongings? Now you want me to forget about it?”
“What? You can destroy things, but you can’t pay for them?”
Back in high school, I had kept to myself, focusing on my studies and avoiding conflict. I never started any trouble. But Logan had always sought to provoke me, calling me pretentious and trying to get me into trouble. He led a group that bullied me and I tolerated it to avoid escalation. But now, my tolerance had only emboldened them.
Today, they had crossed a line–assaulting me without mercy. If I didn’t stand up for myself now, they would only grow bolder in their cruelty.
