The massive formation of luxury cars caused the noisy crowd to fall into a sudden, stunned silence. The students who had been holding me down quickly released me, standing up straight to stare at the approaching vehicles. Even Logan. withdrew his foot and shifted his gaze to the procession.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, a man in a suit stepped forward and opened the door of the lead car with respect. Then, Lily, dressed in a high–fashion wedding gown, gracefully descended from the vehicle. With her slender figure and silky curly hair, she radiated beauty and nobility, capturing the attention of the entire crowd.
“Is that Lily, the General Manager of Besla Business Group?”
“Yes, it’s her! No wonder they call her the ‘Iceberg President, her wedding entrance is so extravagant!”

“Wow, so much gold and wealth! No

Amidst the envious murmurs, Logan beamed and went forward to take Lily’s

“Ms. Harper, I run a small advertising company–if Besla Business Group needs advertising, could you consider us?”

“Ms. Sharper, I was Logan’s desk mate for three years. I’ve long admired your reputation. Do you think Besla Business Group has any openings? I‘ m willing to learn anything!”
One by one, the classmates crowded around, desperately trying to impress Lily. The smile on Logan’s face grew wider, basking in the superiority of the situation. He was enjoying every moment of this attention, while Lily, accustomed to such flattery, ordered her assistant to accept. their business cards without much
enthusiasm.
Then, Logan’s mother stepped forward with a smile. “Good daughter–in–law, you’ve finally arrived! We’ve been waiting to celebrate your wedding!”
“Come on, let’s head inside and finish the ceremony, the relatives are all waiting!”

Lily nodded and prepared to enter the hotel. with Logan and the others. But suddenly, the sound of police sirens blared from a distance. Moments later, a group of officers. swiftly emerged from their cars, issuing a stern command.
“Freeze!”
“We received a report that there’s been a gathering here to cause trouble and intentionally harm someone!”
The arrival of the police immediately
attered the celebratory atmosphere. The classmates froze, some too afraid to even lift their heads, fearing they might get caught up in the investigation.
Lily looked at Logan in confusion.
“What’s going on? Why are the police here?”
Logan’s expression faltered for a moment, then he stammered. “My classmates said they were going to teach that ‘soft rice man‘ a lesson, so they

acted to stop him from ruining my wedding.
Lily’s face shifted slightly and she looked at him skeptically.
“He’s not the man you think, he’s still the one who tried to sabotage my wedding. It’s only right for everyone to teach him a lesson.”
The old classmates nodded in agreement.
“Right, he always compared himself to Logan in high school. He could never stand seeing Logan do better!”
“Logan invited him to the wedding and this is how he repays us, causing trouble!”
“Yeah, he was always targeting Logan at school, so we couldn’t help but step in when he got too arrogant!” The classmates, eager to stay in Logan‘ s good graces, spared no effort in belittling me in front of Lily. Logan’s mother also added.

Lily nodded slightly.

With Lily s approval, Logan felt a surge of confidence. He stood tall and faced the
police officers, saying in a firm tone,
“Officer, this man came to my wedding to cause trouble. We only acted in defense of our event.”
The police officer frowned and responded bluntly, “Everyone involved needs to come to the station for questioning and to explain the situation.”
