Anthony and Matthew had taught Caroline a lot of skills in 5 years. Initially, I always thought that this woman was someone who

Both Caroline and I quickly rode from the start. Adrian also watched from his seat. I
noticed that there was a hint of worry in his eyes, but I let out a gentle smile to reassure the man.
On the other hand, Anthony was watching excitedly. Clearly, the reason for his excitement was that he heard about my bet with Caroline. However, what attracted my attention was how jealous Caroline was. The woman tightly held the reins of her horse as if she would win the race.

Soon enough, the whistle to sign that the race had started had been blown. Our horses quickly ran towards the finish line. The whole stadium was filled with cheers for me. In fact, there was even a young girl who stood in the front row to take photos

As the race was about to end, the gap. between me and Caroline had become
further. The woman was behind me, which made her anxious. She tried to keep up with me, trying to make me fall.
However, I was unbothered. After all, my mind was set on the bet. I was determined to get back to the mansion where I grew up.
When I reached the finish line, cheers were heard throughout the stadium. Caroline continued to accelerate fiercely, trying to keep up with me. In fact, I noticed that she. was about to try to make me fall off my horse when we jumped the obstacles.
The moment she was about to push me, I used the moment to startle her horse. It caused her to jolt in surprise, which
startled her horse even more. But I also fell down. When I managed to land, I lost my balance and I quickly rolled my body to avoid being stamped by Caroline‘ s horse.

Immediately, I broke free from Anthony’s grip and threw myself into Adrian’s arms. Only then did my husband calm down.

Soon enough, Adrian’s face became cold slowly but surely. The event organizer was already scared himself to that, fearing that my husband would go mad. So, I quickly patted his chest twice, which immediately calmed him down.
