I stopped worrying about Caelan.
I changed my flight and went abroad as planned.
Three days after I arrived, I had surgery.
The operation went well, and as long as I worked hard on my recovery, I would be able to walk normally again soon.
Maybe I could even go back to hiking and camping in the near future.

The next time I heard about Isabel was on New Year’s Eve after I had recovered.
It should have been a day for family celebrations, but instead, she was found dead on the roadside.
I heard that the beating she took at the airport had ruined her looks.
To regain her beauty and keep chasing rich men, she borrowed a huge amount of money at high interest.
Unfortunately, she never found another easy target like Caelan.
In the end, she lost her life because she could not pay back the loan.
As I read about her in the news, I thought it was unfortunate.
